Concetto Campo
Doctor Concetto Campo, the manager of the centres, is a
psychologist and was trained in using the method at the end of the 1980s
in the Tomatis Training Centre in Paris under the guidance of Professor
Tomatis.
In the latter part of the 1990s he introduced the Tomatis
method in Sweden where, adopting the method, he worked professionally
and intensely through seminars for several years.
He collaborates with Ferrara University in training
specialised educational operators.
He directs a specialization course in audio-psychophonology
at a renowned Italian e-learning university.
Doctor Campo has been authorized, since 1997, by Alfred
Tomatis, to train new therapists in audiopsychophonogy.
He organises training courses for new therapists in the
Italian language in Italy.
He collaborates with newspapers and magazines like
Repubblica Salute, Repubblica Musica, Musica Domani, La Gazzetta del
Sud, Alto Adige.
He wrote “L’orecchio e i suoni fonti di energia ” (The
ear and the sounds as a source of energy) in 1993 and “Il metodo
Tomatis” (The Tomatis method) in 2008 for Edizioni Riza. “Introduzione
al metodo Tomatis” (An introduction to the Tomatis method) for the
Ferrara University editions in 2002.
The Centres in Verona and Rome organise activities using
the Tomatis method in some localities in Tuscany and South Tyrol.
Seminars, conferences and workshops are programmed during
the year.
