SPECIALTIES:We emphasize a family approach with our children and do work with a wide range of needs. We encourage both parents to attend weekly counseling sessions. We also offer both parents group listening sessions designed especially for parents free of charge.In our work with adults, we invite the spouse of a client to attend group listening sessions free of charge while their partner is in training. For more fluency and proficiency in a second language, we offer active programs in English, Spanish and French. Other languages are available upon request. We train musicians, students of voice and actors to be more effective listeners. Dr. Tomatis is recognized by the French Academy of Sciences for the theory the "The voice can only reproduce what the ear can hear". We offer all clients a free one hour session of listening weekly for the first year after completing their program. Bilingual services in English and Spanish. Monthly open house by appointment. Clinical Director and mental health therapist in privet practice for more than
20 years. Trained w/ Dr. Tomatis and Paul Madaule in 1986. Emilia Flores - Trained w/ Dr. Tomatis and
Paul Madaule in 1988. Tomatis Consultant since 1994. Bachelor’s Degree/
graduate work in psychotherapy Instituto de Psicoterapia, Monterrey, Mexico.
Actively works in Mexico helping with staff trainings and outreach programs. Harl and Jim Asaff - Inspired by their
son’s success with the Tomatis Method, they founded The Listening Centre in
1991 with Ursula Palmer and Paul Madaule. The Asaffs have owned and operated an
independent oil company in Dallas for 20 years. Jim actively serves the
community as an officer of the Brain/Behavior Center and Harl is a former
trustee of the Greenhill School and co-author of Frankly Speaking R. Victoria Martinez has a Bachelor degree in
Psychology at Intercontinental University in Mexico City. Currently a listening
