"Pediatric Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists employing sensory integration techniques to improve the lives of individuals with developmental challenges" An Integrative Approach to Therapy Project CHILLD was founded in 2001 as a collaboration between two pediatric occupational therapists, each with over 25 years of experience in the field. Their dream was to open a clinic that augmented more traditional occupational therapy services with alternative methods of treatment. After discovering the power and effectiveness of the Tomatis sound training program on children with various disabilities, the founders jumped at the opportunity to study directly under two Tomatis-trained experts in this field, Dr. Billie Thompson of Sound Listening and Learning Center, and later, Dr. Ron Minson of the Center for Inner Change. Today Project CHILLD is staffed with 14 Occupational Therapists and 3 Speech Pathologists who offer Sound Training in our state-of-the-art facility. We are authorized providers of The Listening Program (TLP) and are Dynamic Listening System (DLS) Consultants. We are also certified in the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT). Consultation services are also available for home and school programs, including school Inclusion programs.
